What we need to do is to develop a plan of action to improve our chance of success. We will write out realistic goals with a timeline. The key is written goals.

In the last few weeks, I have asked you to do some preliminary work to prepare for planning out your 2022 plan of action. I have asked you to identify what’s important, what milestones that will occur next year, what challenges you might face, and then to prioritize your actions.

Hi, this is Stephen McLain of the finance leader podcast. This is bonus episode number 3320 21 is coming to an end in a few days and 2022 will be here before you know it. It has been quite a year again, it was filled with both challenges and opportunities. But they seem to be always at the extremes. There's nothing that is pre 2020 normal, there is no normal anymore. We are adapting and continuing to adapt. That's what leaders do. We learn to be flexible and adapt, to analyze and to overcome. We lead when it gets tough. We continue to set a great example for others to follow. I do believe that we have all had the opportunity to develop our crisis handling skills, and this will continue to help us into the future. I have a question. Are you ready for 2022? What will you face in the new year, more challenges probably, and definitely more opportunity.
