Do you know how to enjoy your time off when you do take your vacation time? This is important so you can get mentally refreshed. You need a break – you need to clear your mind and ready yourself so you that you can tackle next year. 

Enjoy your time off:

  1. Set boundaries,
  2. Be guilt free for taking time off,
  3. Do not think about what waits for you,
  4. Enjoy the moment, and
  5. Set yourself free.

Hi, this is Steven McLean of the finance leader podcast. This is bonus episode number 51. You should now be complete with monthly close for November. Hopefully you are wrapping up any remaining projects and tasks for this year and not starting anything new until January. I also further hope that you will be taking some time off so you can rest so you can enjoy this holiday time. So you can enjoy your friends and family and so you can get refreshed again. Are you taking some time off? If you are not taking your vacation time? I want to encourage you to do so this year. And every year. I have another question. Do you know how to enjoy your time off when you do take your vacation time. This is important so you can get mentally refreshed, you need a break. You need to clear your mind and ready yourself so you can tackle what you have ahead of you for next year. So I have a few items for you to consider to help you enjoy your time off. Number one, set boundaries so you can enjoy this time with your friends and your family. And don't forget to rest. set those boundaries so no one can interfere. Number two, be guilt free for taking time off. You owe to yourself and your family to break away from work for a while. Don't feel guilty. Don't worry about what is or what is not happening in the office. Number three, do not think about what waits for you clear your mind. And it's not the end of the world when you take a break. Number four, enjoy the moment learn to live. Life is not just about work. I do believe you need to be crushing it on the job. But you can also rest you can learn to enjoy life and learn to grow in your personal life. And finally, number five, set yourself free to enjoy yourself. Have fun. No worrying about work right now. Please enjoy this time of year. celebrate the holidays if that is what you want to do. Your time off is yours. Stop thinking about the Office for just a moment and start living your life season 13 debuts on January 10. Thank you
